{{ Pheebs }} Yet another New Year's resolution (for 2015)

I have a feeling that 2015 will be a very challenging and exciting year for me. I had to get ready mentally and emotionally, so after thinking about it for months, I got a tattoo. It's an enso, and I am proud of wearing it. Our first week together was not without it's downs, in case you wanna know, when you get a tattoo, it hurts like hell, but the pain does not stop when you leave the parlour. It hurts whenever the skin moves, so I walked around like a T-rex for the whole first week :D (it's on my left forearm).

So the list I prepared for this year:

- It is highly possible that I'll get the opportunity to show my leadership skills this year. I would like to tackle this challenge and leave a good impression while doing so. I also would like to use this chance to build a richer vocab in English.

- I got back on the learning-Japanese track this year, and I hope to continue on it throughout 2015 too. It's something that has been a long term hobby for me, and along the way it became something more.

- I had a few classes of Korean, and I fell in love with this language. I want to keep learning it, though the problem is always that we don't have a teacher :( awful

- On my way to pick up a new hobby, that is sumi-e. I'll try to put time aside for it :)

- Travel plans are: London in March, hopefully with a side trip to Wales. South Korea would be nice, but I'll see if it fits the budget :D

- Although probably surreal, but would like to loose 8-10 kg. Will have to find some sport or martial art to do it I think.

- Taiko? I haven't decided what I'll do about it. One thing is for sure, I am less and less happy with playing. I might give it up in order to pick kendo up.

{{ Pheebs }} Revisiting New Year's resolutions from 2014

Hi there,

As usual, checking up on myself from this previous year (nobody reads this anyway :D)

- Paint the bedroom blue, put up brick tiles on the living room wall, behind where the TV will be, paint at least one wall lime green :P
Bedroom is blue, but the brick tiles will have to wait. First up is a little change of colours in the kitchen :) Also no lime green wall yet.

- get a fluffy cat
Nope, not yet. She would be lonely anyway. I'll wait with the cat until I have less after work activities.

- Go to Scotland with Mom
Done, it was nice, maybe this year we'll go to Wales.

- Go to Japan
Wow, now this one has been a life changer. We planned for months, and finally in September, we got to go. It was great, even greater than I expected. I decided not to write about it, because that would be another blog :D Just know that it was so addictive I keep thinking about going back.

- keep my friends

Still got 'em :D

- stay fun to be around

I don't know why I put this here. It's not like I can measure this.

Next up is the resolutions for 2015.

{{ Pheebs }} Nyekk's wedding and Pheebs' Japan travel

0 megjegyzés
Dear readers (or dear future Nyekk and me),

Today is Nyekk's wedding and he must be running around crazily right now somewhere in Budapest, while I'm sitting at home, getting ready and feeling proud of him.

I am not sure when he is going to read this post, and I think that is kinda cool :D I am so happy for him, and wish him a lifetime of happiness. May your sim's achievement bar be ever maxed out dear お兄ちゃん :)

Nyekk, you journey starts here and now, and I hope that it will be forever awesome and joyful. ツ

-------

I'm also starting on a journey next Tuesday, when I travel to Japan for the first time. I am so excited I have been shaking for days now. Hope my boss doesn't mind me not being able to focus on work nowadays. I trust that my team mates will fill in for me :D as I have not been too productive this week lol.

Looking forward to meet my dear Japanese friend Yumi, and Naomi san from the late japanese summer camp :)
