{{ mizuki }} Promises for 2010

0 megjegyzés
Hey again,

So, I see now that I usually put some promises to my list, thta i can't hold onto, so this time I will try to avoid those kind of promises :D

- finish my thesis and get a diploma with no more delays
- work as hard as never to get from intern to full-timer at the company i will work at from february
- now I've got the chibi One Piece character figures, the adult version of Luffy and Ace are on the way, Zoro will come too with the help of Nyekk. So I want to collect them all (in adult version) till the end of 2010.
- start learning korean
- read more books (well, this is tricky, because you can't measure it :P)
- find a place and time when we can play boardgames with Nyekk, Padi and nnorbi ^^ I would love that!!
- and once again, i promise to stay silly as always :)

Now back to translating (-_-)

HAPPY NEW YEAR EVERYONE!!!
皆様のご健康をお祈り申し上げます。

{{ mizuki }} Promises from 2009 - revise

0 megjegyzés
Hello!

I haven't been around here lately, but I had things to do in my non-virtual life. I started to work, worked for 2 months. Now that it's time for exams I decided to give it up to be able to pass them. I got an internship in a big company, will start working there from February. Padi wants to work there full-time too, so I cheer for him ^^

So... every year, around this time we start to revise our year with Nyekk, and write promises for next year. I think I will separate them now, so the promises for 2010 will come in 2 days :)

Promises for 2009 - revise

* If Cooper comes home, I'll be a better owner
Well, Cooper got home, he was like a living zombie, but with 2 months of good care, he go back to his late self. If it is possible, dad got more attached to him than before, so my promise to be a better owner ended up as a fail. I realized that I'm jelous to my dog :/ But at least I tried. In the first 2 months, I was the queen of the owners.

* will go to JLPT3 in December
Did, waiting for the results. Hopefully I passed ^^

* and the japanese-chinese camp at summer
Did, it is always the best week of the year.

* make a website with Nyekk, I don't know the topic yet, but I really want to do it.
Fail... mostly because we haven't decided about the topic :)))

* i would like to play the ukulele and kendama (it's not an instrument, it's a toy)
Fail, had no time :( but i can solve a 4x4x4 rubic cube XD

* lose more weight, gain more muscle
Fail, we started to practice Tai chi, but then the weather got cold and we didn't have a place to go with the others.

* get a new laptop
Ehhehe.... well I got a new laptop, the dream of my laptops, and a week ago i got a little netbook for x-mas :) part from my dad, and the following little parts from my future, working self (lol). I love them both.

* will work at summer to get money for my japanese courses
I didn't work at summer, but I worked in the last 2 months. I got the money for the courses by selling things on the internet.

* go to MCP (Microsoft Certified Professional) course
We went to this course, but then Microsoft decided that we don't get the chance to go and take the exam, which we were completely ready for :((

* choose my major
Did, my major is IT Security. To be honest I should write my thesis now ^^;;

* oh... will never change the way I am.. that I'm silly
I think I passed it... ^^;;

Hm.. I think I mostly passed. About the failures, I will just have to live with them.

See you in 2 days, take care

On last saturday, it was windows 7 premiere time at Budapest, and they chose to make the announcement on the Budapest Gameshow 2009. I arrived late afternoon because I slept until noon, but oh well ^^;; I still saw some interesting things, and spent some time with Padi- and Timたち :P I even created a fearful loli in the Sims 3 character generator. I bet nobody had the courage to approach the laptop after I left her onscreen! :D

Then I saw some weird phenomenon, a species that began to spread among us: CS Girls. They head a mean look in their eyes, and their face just shouted "headshot!".

Unfortunately we couldn't spectate this species in their natural enviroment, because most of their time they watched progress bars on the screen. :P

This years autumn animecon got cancelled by the anime club promised to organize it. It was a little unfortunate to everyone, and Timsan already arranged a two week long homestay to include the animecon. So he thought we could make our own little con. With that in mind, we assembled today to visit some anime/manga related shop, and finally settle in the Moonlight メイド caffe.

Not everything has gone as planned, as two of the shops out of three were closed, but we had fun and some food/coffe in the kissaten. :)

Jin had came to, I hope she had fun, too :D She was a little touched to be there, needed some comforting here and there :D

And Hikaru got a traditional Japanese two-heart-ballons-on-the-head hairstyle from Tim. Suits her, ne? :D

{{ mizuki }} Still alive

0 megjegyzés
Dear readers!

Yes, I'm still alive.. although you might considered i was dead and under my desk, since I wrote here so long ago :(
To tell you the truth, recently I was too busy to write here, because:
- was working online (my currnet part-time job is using my internet connection): i can only work at night (around midnight), because the database servers are too busy at daytime :( it caused, that I'm really tired after a few hours of works, so I can't work long -> no sleeping, no money... not a good job, so
- was trying to find a new job, still waiting for replies (i have been waiting for almost a month now, but patience will do good for me, or roses).
- reading info materials about my thesis
- going to class and try to study for them
- learning japanese
- watch dorama... yeah, i usually watch it while im working, since there are 2-3 free seconds in it, so i can do it. besides.. i dont really need brain for my current job.. (the dorama are: Otomen, BOSS, and a Korean one called Triple)
- try to get to know my classmates on my major, because i dont really know anyone, and I felt it horrible. I want to make friends.

So yep.. beside that I can be found at the pori-chat (pori-chan.com -> pori-chat), where i make friends and practice English with other Horikita Maki fans.

And I have to eat sometimes too :D
I hope this chaos will change soon, now I feel that I do so many things I have no enough time for them individually.

Gadget time:
- current mobile: Samsung c3050
- current fav gadgets: HP dv5 notebook, ipod touch
- current gaming consols: psp, ninteno ds
Yep, no PDA this time :) i dont need it, since the ipod can do anything that a pda would (sometimes better).

Hope you are all ok

mizuki

PS: i am terrified TOO, that i will became an item in the virtual reality, it was so much fun to play. And dont be afraid, I will never get a licence, Im sure.

Mizu got particularly wired to virtual reality. She did so in the favour of wrecking motorbikes and cars while cruising the cuty at insane speeds. She kinda got "sucked in" by this game, as it's her favourite genre of enjoying-beautiful-city-sightseeing-while-collecting-nearby-roadsigns-and-simultanously-eroding-shiny-paintjobs ^__^

Although did good at the game objectives, after what i had seen, I would be afraid to let her behind the driving wheel of a real vehicle ^^;;; /gomen ^^/

0 megjegyzés

"I'm so sorry for people who live in lands where there are no Mayflowers," said Anne. "Diana says perhaps they have something better, but there couldn't be anything better than Mayflowers, could there, Marilla? And Diana says if they don't know what they are like they don't miss them. But I think that is the saddest thing of all. I think it would be TRAGIC, Marilla, not to know what Mayflowers are like and NOT to miss them."

It's a little snipplet of the book I am reading now, "Anne of green gables". It's about a little orphan girl, getting adopted into the household of an old couple, who never had children themselves, and it creates a lot of interesting situations, seeing how she slowly changes them. The story is set way back in around the 20's on a little island of Canada. The atmosphere is really lighthearted, and Anne's attitude never fails to cheer me up, she has an opinion about almost everything, a really extraordinary one at most of the time. She always uses big words, ands speaks with dignity, which is funny hearing it from a little girl's mouth. And oh a lot she speaks!
There is no evil in the story, it is more "slice of life" type a book, with aging and developements.
If you like books like this, I can only advise you read it :)

"Somehow," she told Diana, "when I'm going through here I don't really care whether Gil—whether anybody gets ahead of me in class or not. But when I'm up in school it's all different and I care as much as ever. There's such a lot of different Annes in me. I sometimes think that is why I'm such a troublesome person. If I was just the one Anne it would be ever so much more comfortable, but then it wouldn't be half so interesting."

{{ mizuki }} Busy weeks and school

0 megjegyzés
Hello!

Sorry about my lack of activity nowadays... i've been a bit busy, and too tired to post here.
I took part in many events in the last few weeks, mostly IT events (Hacktivity and ITBN).

I'm doing a tele-work now, which means I'm working from home, on my own computer, using my own internet connection. I can do it whenever i have time, so I realized that I started to be absent from my usual IRC channels too :(

Because of the events, I didn't have time and the mood to study for school, I even skipped 1-2 classes. But this week, I could finally got myself together.

Oh and something to brag about (like Nyekk lol). I sold my pda and gps and bought an ipod touch (2 generation). AND (with a lot of help from Nyekk), I put wikipedia on it! Can you imagine? the WIKIPEDIA!! :D it's so awesome, when i'm on the go and can't remember something, I can look it up. Like one day, before we had the iphone and ipod, we were thinking about this: what was the name of the greek hero, who fighted against Poseidon. And we never got the answer in our minds, we had to look it up in wikipedia when i got home. No more waiting :D

All in all, the ipod touch is the most awesome gadget I ever had, i can use it for so many things :)

Other infos. I might get the chance to try myself out in a teacher's role. I will try to teach Japanese to a beginner in the language :) がんばります!

I'm still searching for a job, a proper job, not the one i have now :)

The rest of what happened to me was written by Nyekk, so you already know about it :)

take care

It was a kinda sad, cheerless day today. It was the last day at work for us at The Hungarian Airlines main office complex. We felt we've got fired, and in a way, we've got fired. The work will continue at the airport, but it just won't be the same. We became quite attached to the place, and it feels weird we never ever come to solve the user problems here again.

The place wasn't always this messy, but paperwork grows on you after some time :D This was usually my desk and workstation.

There Is a support related xkcd comic printed on the locker, and a "we're not kidding!" sign >:D

And this is our little surprise for whoever will come to work tomorrow to replace us. I hope they will get the joke ;P

0 megjegyzés

First of all, sorry about the mass of postage i have been doing lately, i seem to capitalize this blog for myself, but that's really not my intention :)

But since i got this iphone, posting to the blog while on the go became a more natural feeling. So excuse me anyway ^^;;;

So today we visited this thing called J-Cult day with Mizuchan (in romaji, because my japanese inpit just stopped working. Grrr) It was held by hungarian schools teaching japanese language, for the centenary anniversary of the japanese-hungarin diplomacy repicking their connection. (which was - as we heard - never actually dropped)

We saw many performances, like dragon dance, aikido and kendo show, and our friend, Hikaru also participated in a dance! She is member of a dance club which mixes traditional asian movements with modern asian music. They performed 3 times, I pretty much enjoyed it.

And which was - for me - the most interesting part of the event, they held seminars. The subject were how to improve teaching japanese, difference in eastern and western etiquette, hungarian-japanese diplomatic relations, and the school system differences. I liked them all, but the best was how hungarian horses fit into japanese history :D It was a really inteteresting find.

All in all we had a good time, I'm waiting for the next part of this event chain organized for this centenary occasion ;)

Dear Nyekk,

You said, no one will read what you wrote, why didn't you use crypto-blog?

I think, the only thing you need, is to focus on one thing, that you like and can grap onto it. I know one thing like that: Japanese. When you do this, you will get power from it for other things. If you let yourself and your thought wander for too long, and let the depression spread, of course you will get more depressed. But if you grab that one thing you like, learning this language we both love, it will give you the power for your other goals. Like... always eat while you are learning Japanese. When you can't/donwanna sleep at night, learn Japanese. When you have free time, work on your Japanese related thesis, and if it's a fail at the start, don't give up! While jogging, listen to exam listening files, then your mind can't go wander again. etc

If you keep yourself occupied, not only at work, it will do some good.

0 megjegyzés
First I have to warn you,it will be a long post, and maybe it isn't useful for anyone else but me.Those of you reading this blog (yes, those few) may have already seen post like this from me,about changes I wanted to make in my life. The fact is, I did not changed much of my life since them. Because of that,I got more and more fed up with myself, until this point. My life mostly reduced to work, and then going home, logging onto the net, and waiting for someone to talk to me. After a few months, It became a routine, the kind of you can't break free easily. Yesterday I had a lot of time thinking about my life, do I really need this? And based on this, I have decided to renovate my life, because this is not the only problem I have with it. I need to seriously patch up my personality problems.

The first thing I adressed is physical condition. I started doing regular workout at home during the summer, but maybe for not eating enough to support it, they weren't really effective. Nowdays I realized it's not really muscles that I want. Ofcourse it would be good to look like someone moviestar, but if not, then it's not something I would die for, nevet cared about looks anyways, as long as I don't look shabby. I would rather have stamina, as I get tired just running for yhe bus, panting for minutes afterwards, which is pathetic I think at my age. And starting Thai Chi perfectly fitted into this plan,it's something that gives you stamina. But I wanted a little more, something I could do every day. The problem is after I get home from work, I'm too tired to do anything. Lately I have problems with sleeping (more on that later), so I came up with the idea: I will do some sports before work, as I get up early anyway. So today I woke up at the usual five o'clock in the morning, I got up, got dressed, grabbed my music, and went jogging. I ran around the local streets, not much, only ten minutes. But that's enough for now. I always had problems getting out of bed, now this solves it. After this little round, and a shower, I was fully awake, and it actually felt good.

Moving on, the next thing is also physical, it's about food. After I started working, I began to eat irregularly, having lunch now and then. And I'm eathing a lot of unhealthy food also. I want to be healthier, so starting from today I will make my own sandwiches and food for work. It's also much better tasting :)

The next thing is the only thing I love and earlier I felt that I was good at it. It's Japanese. Lately it became neglected, not that I didn't have time for it at the evenings. I just didn't do it, stating to myself I'm not in the mood now. Now that the exam is so close, and I'm got to the point where i'm strugling with tests, I should seeieously change that. I have to allocate at least 1 hour a day studying.

Than there is the my thesis, to stay on the studying grounds, I'm not really did anything with it for almost a year. But I need to finish college this semester, as it's more and more becomes a burden, and I don't feel I am fitting in anymore. When I go to lesson, it feels like I'm a guest,an outsider.

I already told you about the problems with sleeping, it's not really that I cannot sleep, I can, but I often dream. And dreams are the source of most of my sleeping problems. When I was younger, I loved my dreams, because they were always about something I longed for, and I liked having fantasies about what my life will be in the future. This nature of my dreams hadn't changed at all, only me. Now these dreams tell me about a life I will never ever have, and though it feels good while dreaming it, waking up into reality easily throws me to depression. I am yet to solve this problem, as I really not having much control over my dreams. Until then, waking up at night and staring hour at the ceiling remains.

And it just trails over to the next thing, depression. For me, it's a very scary thing, as I can't control it either, and it really messes up my daily life. Actually I have the worst type, with rapid mood changes. The worst thing about it, is that I don't want to feel sad and down, but I just do. And the more I think about it, the more I slide deeper into depression. And when it strikes, I just lie around for hours having no motivation to do anything. And after some hour I feel pathetic about it which makes me even more depressed. The thing is, now it comes more and more often, now I don't like being left alone, because when i'm with others, i don't have time to think. But when i'm alone, my mind becomes cloudy, and I can't really occupy it with anything else. It helps when I talk with someone, but I don't have many contacts to talk to, and they are quickly get irritated about my depressed state, so i'm left alone again. I thought about getting professional treatment, as depression is genetically inherited, and not without precedent in my family. My fathers brother has committed suicide at the age of 24, and my sister is presently treated with maniac depression. Looming at my present state, i got that bad gene alright. I would really like to get did of this, I was always a cheerful person, and it kills me that i have to endure this.

Some months ago i believed that I have to move to a different place to have a fresh start, to change my life. Lately i realized it's just an excuse, like when you wait for the clock to show round time to get out of bed in the morning. Because it's doesn't imatter where I live, but how I live is more important. So i will wait for the time when it's finally possible for me to get my own appartment. It became a little lower priority over all the other things.

I don't think anyone will read all this, but I just felt I need to finally write these out. I hope that it always reminds me where I must be heading.

Sorry about taking up so much space for this nonsense.

Nyekk

{{ mizuki }} The rest of the summer camp :P

0 megjegyzés
Hello!

So as we predicted, we couldn't write about the camp daily :) poor Nyekk got tired after the 3rd one, and I guess he couldn't continue.

So what happened after the last post?

The food got better :) we had meat!! I don't know, I ate mostly everything (except for liver, I hat liver brr), so we got over of the first day's roasted eggplants (it could have been good... except that it wasn't).
We got used to the place we lived too. It was not a palace, not even a one star hotel, but we could live with it. Because this year's classes were more exciting than the last year's. We had so many different classes to choose from:

- particulas ("dreaded particulas!" //Nyekk)
- listening
- JLPT3 test trials
- translating

These were the classes we had to attend, and as if we were not already tired after all these, we could choose from these optional ones:

- i-go
- calligraphy
- Chinese/Korean/Vietnamese
- watching dorama

So it was really fun! And you would never believe what i have done! Instead of watching dorama at night, i studied Korean XDD Yeah, well they watched Yasha, which I didn't really like, so..

There were only 3 of us who were crazy enough to learn all 3 other languages (Chinese/Korean/Vietnamese), so we had to learn more than the others (3 as in Nyekk, my roommate and I), but it was fun to be able to get a bite from all of them :) Next year there will be Thai too, I heard.

The translating part, where our guest, Naomi-san helped us translating a Hungarian fairy tale to Japanese was a separated class: There were 2 groups (A and B), and one day it started with the A group, the other day with the B group. So our free time was always different, sometimes it was after the test-class, sometimes after the translating-class. In these free times we mostly went for shopping (food ^^;;), or to the beach.

There were two 'adventure' days too. First we went to Veszprem, which is a nearby city. As soon as we got there there rain started to fall like hell, so we had to find some cover. Then we just did sightseeing and all.

The second adventure was in Tihany. Well it was a tough one i have to say! We did hiking! it was 12km long! 12.. KM.. long. I have to admit I never thought i could walk so much, and up to a cliff. If I were not that tired, I would surely shout something from up there :))

We also found the 1st part of a multicache (geocaching), which we let go, because we had no energy to continue. Speaking of geocaching, Nyekk and I brought our caching gps handhelds too. While the hiking, one of our teacher who also lead us asked me if we headed in the cache's direction. I always said where it would be.. then after like 1 hour I realized, that that very cache, that little bastard was at Budapest, and I left the gps in a 80km scaling (_ _)........

At that time, 1/3 of the camp's people went home because of certain reasons, so the hiking group was kinda small, also our teacher and her husband missed the train, so they were left behind T.T

So, all in all, the camp was great. I already forgot how I felt about the place where we had to sleep... ^^;; (no, not really). And we learned a lot again. I remember how much we learned in a week the last time, and I think we learned at least as much this time too.

I heard the next year's camp will be totally different. I don't want to spoil it yet, especially because the plans are not sure yet, but if it will be as our teacher said, it will be great!! I will post about it when the plans are for sure :)

School is starting soon, so I spend my last weeks of the summer with watching One Piece on full speed (means: I watch like 15-20 episodes per day ^^;;;;;;).

Hope you have a nice summer.

Daytime, you can always have others around you
Laugh together, play together, pass along the day
Then night comes, and you are suddenly alone
Alone with your thoughts, locked into your soul
You know no one can help you at night
When you think there is destiny,
Only to find out if there is, it has a mean humor
When you notice you can't live your dreams
Only live in them
When you see that the future your heart laid out for you,
Is fake and impossible
When you think love should be happy and warm
But actually it is more of painfull
And you wonder if there is anything good left in life at all.

That's the moment you become an adult.

Finally, Bye,bye childhood

<< Nyekk >> Japanese Camp - Day 2 - Getting mansioned

0 megjegyzés
...The day when we got to know that not all disposable cups can be disposed...

If I remember correctly, this is the second day of this Japanese camp
(actually I'm writing this on the third day already, so it's kind of
cheating, but what hekk)

The day started with a headache, a rather disturbing dream, and a long
walk to our designated eating place. It's a small restaurant, where we
get breakfast and lunch. Breakfast was easily forgettable, and lunch
was a surprise: no meat. Our teacher is a vegetarian, at least she
cannot bear eatinh meat. So she ordered menu without meat. Some of us
were not really happy about this idea, but I think if they cook it
tasty, I don't need the meat.

We started our lessons, there are all kinds of them, with teachers
rotating with time. We had listening, tests, and particulas (dreaded
particulas!). Our classroom is on the shore of Balaton, so we have a
good view of the lake from there. In there, we learnt about a new
phenomena (at least for me): Non-disposable disposable cups. The story
is short. We needed disposable cups, but it was Sunday, so they
wouldn't sell us disposable cups, only LEND them. So we had to keep an
eye of them, because they are disposable after all, they have a
one-time-lifetime usage. And on Saturday we will have to return them.

Also, today we had a class with a native Japanese, who speaks only
Japanese, not even english. On her lesson, we have to translate a
story into japanese, it's a spanish tale in hungarian , about a man
called Robert. He exchanged his heart for an iron one, to lose his
feelings and get into the legendary city of fortune. My partner
doesn't understand hungarian, so we had to translate it into english
first, then into japanese.

At the end of the day, we had chinese and korean lessons, they were
interesting, especially korean, we learned the writing system, it was
really logical.

That's all for today, see you tomorrow!

<< Nyekk >> Summer camp 2009 - First day hickups

0 megjegyzés
From the previous entry You must know already, how much we loathed for this years summer camp, the unreplacable event of the year.
And it's not a good omen, if the first day starts with minor dissappointments. And all the worst if they are everything but minor.
When we arrived at the place we will stay for the next few days, we just looked the building with a critical eye: it's small, one story height, and looks like a changing room on a football field on the outside. If you dare to enter the front door, you will find yourself on a narrow corridor (narrow, 2 people can pass each other even not so easily). Rooms open either way along the walls. It looked very low cost at the first and second sight.
The first shock was the room, it was narrow, with four unidentifiable substance stained bed, greasy carpet, ona small.window, no cupboard or gardrobe, only one shelf, a table, a fridge, and a small tv-set. I decided to keep my clothes in my bag, founding no place to be appropriate for them. Last year, we had separate bathroom with two sinks for each room, but now we found no thing like that in our room. The "shower room" is on the end of the corridor, more on that a little later. The beds are well used, Padi's have a massive convex hole in his mattrace.
Next, we have a kitchen, where the tables stick with some gooey stuff, and there is a pan with who knows how old grease in it. We didn't spend much time there yet, I don't think we will.
And the last room, the room of dark menaces. The room with the loos and showers. Firstly, the restroom has no sink. There is soap, papertowell, only no sink. It's a weird experience. The girls' have sink, but no soap. All three in the same time seems to be a no go. Then there are the showers, three of them in one little room. There are black penicilin spores living on the shower tray and the tiles. It looks utterly disgusting. We bought cheap slippers to wear them until showering, not to catch some symbiont.
All in all, the place is terrible, we all loathe for our confy rooms from last year at Mako. We have the Balaton here at our feets, but it's just not the same in this rathole.
And all our lessons will be at a different place, and the restaurant where we will eat everyday is 1-2 kms away. So it's a great traning for the body and the soul.
Now I still have to get some sleep until morning, I hope tomorrow we will se much better about the place.

Nyekk
P.s.: My friends are just great, we are having fun here, regardless of the state of this...thing. Without them, I may be at home with the first train.

Hey,

Long time no see :) I'm on a vacation right now (yes..again). But before I got here we had a little magic in our lives :)

So, as you may know, the 6th movie of Harry Potter is out this summer. They first showed it on 22th of July here, and we got to see it on 23th. We, as Nyekk, Padi, Norbi and I.

The title of this blog.. well, movie posters looks like this.. really. We laughed a lot on that... like they can't resize the font to put it on the posters.

The movie was great, I had a lot of fun. It was funny and had a lot of teenage love. I often think that teenage love is being decribed too hot in Twilight, so what they showed us in HP6 was pretty sweet and light :)

I didn't like the end tough, it was a bit too fast and blurry for those who didn't read the book 3 times (like me lol) and they made us to think that Harry was just too loyal and a coward to help Dumbledore, instead of being a rock (because of Dumbledore's charm). But Hermione had a punch line at the last part:
Harry and Hermione is talking about how Dumbledore died and that they must find all the other horcruxes. Then a big silence.. "Ron's okey with it y'know...... You and Ginny". But it felt like. "hey, Dumbledore died, but Ron is okey with it!". Soon after we left the cinema, it became an ending line for everything, like "shit the subway just left, but Ron's okey with it" or "altough i didn't hear what you said, Ron's okey with it".
Also Harry had a scene like he was from a western movie after he drank the Felix Felicis. We laughed our ass off on that part.

Speaking of laughing...

Once upon a time, there was a lovely Princess, a lone Wanderer, and six fearsome Warriors. They heard about the Legendary Diamond of the Night, and they decided to set out on a quest for finding it. They decided on a gathering place, where all of them coming from different countries could meet. When everyone came together, the Princess told them that a little Fairy is about to come, too, to help the adventurers on the difficult journey. So did came the little Fairy, but she was wounded and she couldn't escort the heroes no further than next fork in their road. There she gave them her good wishes, and cast them a lucky smile before dissapearing from the sight of the group.

The brave party first visited the Garden of the Millenia, said to built by people of a thousands years before time. There, they met a prince and a princess, they were eager to join the quest once they heard about the Diamond of the Night. In the Garden was the Dome of Miracles, the first place our heroes visited in search of clues for the mighty diamond. The Dome held many trials they should face, like getting the egg of a griff through the magical ring, composing magical music in the Room of Noises, even test their strength and stamina in body challenges. The prince of foreign land has succeded great triumph in outrunning his opponents. But after all these hard trials solved, they found no trace of the diamond. So they moved on.

Just on the opposite side of the Garden towered the heights of the Mansion of the Future. They entered with fear in their heart, not knowng what could await them. There the young adventurers met with their distant future. While the challenges before was for the body, these were for the mind, juggling with numbers and tricky questions. Successfully beaten the tests, they gained Enchanted Seeds, and the fabulous Washing Nut. With these treasures in their pack, they carried on with their journey. The Prince and Princess of foreign lands have decided to go on their own way, and thus left the party.

But no hero could do great things with an empty belly, and this was no different with our party. Set our for finding food, they came about a hen stall, and had some roasted chicken to fill their stomach.

It wasn't sooner then the journey came to a fork in their road. The brave Warriors wanted to try themselves in the lowest depths of the legendary Labirinth, but the Princess already knew all about it, and she felt the darkness calling her from far away. The Wanderer, not letting the princess go alone, escorted her on the series of dark tunnels with mysterious noises. Once arrived, they surfaced in a forest. It was a dark and fearsome forest, with bandits hiding everywhere in the bushes, so they had to be very careful on their way. But soon they were standing in the entrance of the Deep Darkness Castle. The Princess and the Wanderer, still feeling the calling, entered the castle. In there, was the deepest, blackest darkness anybody could ever imagine, it penetrated their eyes, ears, and their hearts. The Wanderer soon became distressed, but with the kind guidance of the Princess, they soon passed through the rooms, and saw the light of the night again.

A pigeon landed before them, carrying a message of the Warriors, that they completed the Labyrinth, and found out that the Diamond could be found in Asia, and suggested to assemble the party again there. With this great news, the Princess and the Wanderer set out for finding Asia, which they soon did after a lengthy walk, even arrived there before the brave Warriors could set feet on the land.

In Asia, they found many artifacts, paintings, and many thing that caught the eye, but the Diamond was nowhere to be found. Unfortunately the time was up, and while they haven't exactly found what they were looking for, they all agreed that they spent a very good time together. With this in their heart, everyone began their journey to their homes, the lone Wanderer escorting the Princess to her castle, where she could finally get her good nights sleep. After having the Princess in safety, the Wanderer set out on a pilgrimage for finding a place to stay, touched by the morning lights...

{{ mizuu }} New goodies :))

0 megjegyzés
Hello!

I haven't wrote here a long time.. Sorry about that ^^;;;

So now, I though why not post about my new goodies :)

Recently we started to learn calligraphy at the language school. It was hard first, but now we got used to it, and I think all three of us enjoy it very much (including Nyekk and Padi). I have fun while writing them. Here you can see my "kit":
a colorful fudemaki (okey... it's a plate liner from ikea ^^;;)), a Japanese brush (horse fur ^^ gosh i sound like it's a wand.. 12" long Japanese cherry with horse fur filling... lol), yeah.. my 四, and Chinese ink :).
Hm... while I went to buy Asian food accesories at a Japanese-Korean shop with Mom and Nyekk, we found metal chopsticks. These chopsticks are used in Korea. I found them more hygienic than bamboo or plastic sticks, and they are a lot more beautiful :) They are also more flat, not cylindric like Japanese or Chinese ones. I like using them :) (the upper ones are normal wood sticks that I used before)

Have you ever saw people playing these devilsticks? They are good for juggling :) people who could playe them always amazed me, and while I studied this summer i kept playing with my pen, so I figured I should get one, maybe i could learn it too. So far, I'm only a beginner, adn can't spin it, but it's a lot of fun :) I got these from my Mom, who found them interesting enough to buy them for me. The Nintendo DS lite it for size comparision.

And lastly :) The special things I got from Nyekk out of kindness ^^ Thanks Nyekk!!
This hammer.. lol.. is a present from his vacation :) you know how characters in anime got a hit by a colorful hammer when they are acting stupid? That's a hammer everyone would want :D but we couldn't find it anywhere. It makes that sound 'poiin'. Now, this little.. well not so little hammer makes that sound too :D I got hit by Mom when she found it... -.- it can be handy when you feel "aww, that was sooo stupid of me".. then you can hit yourself.

And I wanted to show it last, because it's so fantastic ^^ Can you see the lamp at the right corner? It's a present from Nyekk :) it is made from rice-paper, therefore has a very Asian look :) It goes well with my kotatsu & futon pair :) Thank you Nyekk ^^
Hm.. you can see my brush again on this picture, hanging on the wall :DD i put it there to dry :) Next to it, on the left side is (Caroline Corr)-head and (Andrea Corr)/2 XD
On the kotatsu is my new laptop, a HP pavilion dv5. I'm using a Samsung 22" wide monitor :D dorama-watching-perfection ^^
and my beginner 四 kanji :))
Oh, that green thingy on the right side is a dust-collector :D not that it helps.. really.

Nowadays I'm reading the Twilight saga, currently reading 'Eclipse' and waiting for the e-mail, that informs me to go and get 'Breaking dawn' from the bookstore. I never thought I would like it, but hey, it was the same for Harry Potter. And you might know that I'm a huuuuuge fan of that story :D Btw... Harry Potter.. the new movie's gonna be out in 3 daaaaaays ^^Y

So... we totally forgot to tell you about the museums' night :D sorry about that. I think I will be a bastard and let this pleasure to be fullfilled by Nyekk :D your turn mate :DDD

PS: recently I got called Rita again, which means my teachers always mix me up with the names Rita or Reka. So far it's ben a 2-2 showdown, if I remember right. To be frank I like them more than my actual name, so I told my Mom she should call me Rita. Then I got to know that if I had a younger sister, her name would have been Rita.. why on earth couldn't she think of that name before??? I think I would be more pleased with Rita :D

<< Nyekk >> More crappy poems

0 megjegyzés
Sorry about that I lately spam this blog with my crappy poems, but nowdays I just feel like writing them, while on the move. They usually reflect my mood, and they are incomprehensive, whatever that means. So readers, beware!

--

You!

Gently curved body, every inch of perfection
Not a point out of shape
Open in mind, round at bottom
Ebracing the world with two arms
Taking in everything freely
Sometimes trailing behind, but always smiling
Looking unstable, but never falling over
Standing steadily beside
Y and o,
It's U!

--

Spiited away

When You are dead, everything is still
You don't appreciate the pigeon on the windowsill
Not reading anymore news and fictons
Someone better cancel those nasty subscriptions
Not again spilling milk while filling the cup
By this, even the cat will notice that something is up
You won't anymore kiss my forehead
Good, 'cause I would freak out at a kiss from a dead
And You won't be reading this poem ever
Fortunately, because if You did,
You would probably haunt me as a ghost forever!

<< Nyekk >> The cat's destiny

0 megjegyzés

A stray cat wanders the streets
Not caring of danger he meets
He would be missed by nobody
The sewer would carry his inert body
Once, he lived as a housecat
Kitten of a girl wanted a pet
He gave all his love to her
And she always had him purr
Then as she grew up, slowly
Life at the house became lonely
The girl now gets a boyfriend
She doesn't have time for her cat
The poor cat decided one day
It was time for him not to stay
He wanders the streets since
Keeping the girl in his heart
Until the day it stops beating.

<< Nyekk >> Singing in the rain

0 megjegyzés
It was raining tonight, and I got soaked, but after all the high temperature today, it felt quite good.

Moreover, it felt wonderful :D

I had a beautyful time today, and it was a good ending, just walking in the warm, silent rain, let the drops fall on me, feel their impact and the wetness. I never thought I could walk alone in the rain happily :) But this time I just couldn't help but smile, and when no one looked, I even skipped a few in my walk ;D

I don't know if the feeling coming through in my writing, but I just wanted to write it out ^^

Hi!

So I bought a magazine today, called 'The 3rd millenium" (3. évezred in Hungarian, I'm not sure if 3rd millenium is the right word for it, let's just say the 21th century lol).

Then I found some nice and fun riddles in it. Can you solve them?

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------

1.)

( C ) ( D ) ( 12)
( A ) ( C ) ( 3 )
( B ) ( ? ) ( 6 )

What goes for '?' ?

Highlight here for the right answer: 3, see the abc as numbers, then A=1, B=2, C=3. The you'll get the third column by multiplying the first column with the second.

2.)

1982, 2774, 8642, 7076, 1738

Which is the one, that does not match with the others?

Highlight here for the right answer: 1738, if you add the digits, you get 20, while 1738 is different

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------

I like this kind of riddles :)
take care,

mizuki

PS: if you are afraid of disasters, and you know about yourself, that if you keep reading them, you'll be paranoic - and if you live in Hungary -, don't buy this magazin this month... it freaked me out :DDD

<< Nyekk >> Highest priced cellotape bought

0 megjegyzés
Hai to you, section of humanity reading this blog!

I would like to inform you a first: the first time I spent a thousand
HUF on cellotape! And it is all the pricey because it is adhesive on
both side!

Well now that humanity's common knowledge had been expanded with this
precious piece of information, let's move on :PP

Mizu just had an exam, hope she passed it, she did everything to do
so. Even become a panda in favor of passing! It's not easy to become a
panda you know! Have you tried it yet?

But another exam coming for her tomorrow. I hear you ask, "already??"
(Ok maybe I just imagine hearing things (^-^);; ) Yeah, it's tough
time know, but it's the price of advancing! Evolution was always
tough. Oh I think I'm trailing away... (^-^);;

So, ganbatte Mizuchan, I know you can make it \(^_^)/
And I will cheer for you! (One, two, three, four five...my name is
Nyekk and I say waii...okok, I will cut it out)

{{ mizuu }} Exams season and future plans

0 megjegyzés
Hello,

long time no "see" huh? But Nyekk kept you entertained, I hope :)
I still have two exams left, but I thought I should write a bit here. Just a lil bit.

About two weeks ago I was shocked by the thought of learning so much things in so little time. So I thought, maybe I should try out this "Mozart effect". Do you know it? They say Mozart's music helps you study, concentrate, relax etc. So i choose the songs for 'concentrate'. And it worked!!! I used it since then for studying and it really helped a lot. Thanks Mozart san ^^

A chain of 'let's change' around me affected me so much, I decided to change myself too. So for that I decided (gosh I wrote decoded.... geek me) to be a bit more girlish from now on. For this, I bought skirts! Really.. Kinda the first time in my life ^^;;; I guess Nyekk never saw me in skirt before lol. I wore skirt only once in my teenage life, and i had two pigtails with it. Then my maths teacher asked me something that i couldn't answer, and told me "you got stupid with those pigtails". I was so shocked, I didn't wear a skirt since then :D

The other huge change in my life, that I decided (huh, safe.. now i didn't miswrote it) to continue study after I finished this school. I want to go to another university after that and study Japanese/Korean as my major. I plan to get a job after school and pay for the next school with it.

What do you think?

Now, back to study.. Pentium Pro.. Pentium Pro..
Hope to finish soon.

Ah, btw, we are watching 'Goong' and 'Atashinchi no danshi' nowadays. I love them both. They keep me entertained after a loooong day learning.

mata ne
mizuu (oh well.. this is my chat nickname, mizuki and mizu were already taken :P)

PS: Nyekk, I was still sleeping when you were waving at Daijyoukoen that morning. you should have called me from work. I'd surely say something funny, half-asleep....

<< Nyekk >> Morning

0 megjegyzés
Hey!

I'ts early morning, and I thought I should write up something while traveling to work. :)
I discovered something new (at least new for me ^o^): If you start your morning with a strech, it's easier to get up.

Ooops someone nearly ran into me. Shouldn't write while walking ^^;;;
In the morning everyone looks like zombies, trailing along their long engraved path, you shouldn't stand in their way! I think it's not a good practice to start the day as a living dead sleepwalker. There are many interesting things in the morning that you should be aware of!

First thing first, you could look at all the different people on the public transport, and guess what could they thinking, what is their occupation. Or just look at all the different dresses and faces. Girls show their true face while sleeping on the bus *wink*

(Almost forgot to change subway lines lol)

Second, smile for a smile. It's easy to get caught in the gloom that mass of people emmit morningtime. Don't! Instead, smile :) I know it's easier said than done, and some may look at you as if you were some freak, but hey, don't care about them! My favourite example is the
newspaper distributor girl I used to see this time of the day. She always looked so alive, and shouted 'Good morning!' at passerbys to offer them newspaper. And she did that with a big smile :) When I bought my drink this morning, I saw the cashier woman weren't in particularly good mood. I thought I should try this, and greeted her loudly, and smiled at her. And she smiled back :) I don't know if I made her mood better, or just for that few seconds, but it worth it  anyways :P

And if all else fails, just listen to good music, and be lost in your thoughts (Daijyoukoen, hello Mizu *wawes*), or write a blog entry. :D

Remember: If you start your day with bad feelings, it will get to you and ruin your day.

Now I'm almost at my workplace, so I'm off to call half sleeping people on the phone. And yeah, I should try smiling through the phone. :D

Mata,
Nyekk

P.S.1: This post contains the word 'smile' in excessive numbers, read with care!
P.S.2: Maybe I should put the sentence above to the beginning of the post. Oh well ^^
P.S.3: My smile is freaky.

As I promised, here comes some photos about the bike I built:

And some about the shine restoration project. The chainwheels were shiny chrome in 1979, but were already full of rust in 2009. I read that if I sand it down with aluminium foil from the kitchen, it will be shiny again. And hell it looks like new after that!
