(i sound like i won an Oscar :D). You are a friend, that I never dreamed of, I'm happy to be able to know you. You have to promise me one thing though... 「日本語のキャンプへいっしょうに行くぞ」って :) okey?

Things I did this year:
- learning Japanese. this fact changed my life so much. it became a hobby, and a new lifestyle. I got to know new people, I got to know new things. I love this all, and I think it is a good sequence of my life. Thank you Ancsisan :) also, went to take the JLPT4 exam. Now my family sees that I'm serious about this :)
- at summer I worked at a computer shop, my first job experiance. Also, from the money I got there, I went to the Japanese language camp, and made new friends.
- sold and bought many gadgets... you can't change the way you are right? :)
- I tried to change my clothing habits to be more woman like.
- got a bunny, lost a dog :(

Hm.. I think that's all.. I'm not a productive human being ^^;;;
Well... my friends, who read this blog. I wish you a very very very Happy New Year! I wish to be your friend next year too.

<< Nyekk >> Promises for 2008 - Revisited

0 megjegyzés
So here I am, only a few hours left of 2008, I will now go through my promises i wrote a year ago. Let's see how a did this year? :D

In 2008, i will...
o ...get my life back together
Managed it somehow, it will fall apart soon again. PASS.

o ...spend a lot lot lot of fun time together with my friends ^_-
Suuuure, it was good, the best times of the year ^^. PASS.

o ...spend more time with drawing
It's just FAIL.

o ...buy a Nobuta style bag ^^
PASS.

o ...go to a japanese language course with Mizu-chan
PASS.

o ...& go to the japanese summer camp together :P
PASS. It's one of my most successful timelines of the year. I'm glad I started.

o ...read more books
Ah, yeah, I think I read...2? :D So this is FAIL.

o ...try to be a little less selfish, sometimes it really gets on me :/
Nai, this is a FAIL, too.

o ...solve the damn rubic's cube ^_^;
Solved it! And I still can. PASS.

o ...learn to play on some instrument, dunno what though (i failed miserably trying to learn some piano -_-), but i would like
Bought a guitar, but that's it LOL. FAIIIL.

o ...watch the horror staring Horikita Maki (Scary!! ^^)
One Missed call? Done that, it was funny. (Mizu was scared, though). PASS.

o ...try to get some kilograms on me :P (So many of you told me that I should :D)
I gained...hold on...5 kgs, that's something now eh? :D Mizuki was more successful with her measurement corrections. But I give it a PASS.

o ...do some regular sport activity, running or rollerskating (Finally I'll have to, i have practically no muscles ^^)
Haha, bought a bycicle, did some ride, but I wouldn't call that regular. FAIL.

o ...giving up DeviantArt, too, they are no fun with all the constraints, and even less fun alone :P
Still have it, abandoned though. PASS.

o ...try to help less people (looks funny, but if you know me, you know what i mean ^_-)
I FAILED that one.

And I FAILed the extra one, too, so let's face it 16/9 PASS, so it's average I think.
I don't know if it's worth to make these promises, I will think about it. Not good at keeping these. And as I practically finished school, I have find work a place to work, soon. (OK, I still have one exam, but nevertheless), so this roughly marks the end of my college days. It was so much fun, it changed my life, and me, too. So I am sad now. Hopefully later this day, as we will start watching Summer Snow, i will cheer up, and end this year merryly.

Happy New Year, everyone.

Hello,

Sorry for not being there to wish all of you a Merry Xmas, but I'll be there to wish a happy new year :)
It's just as Nyekk oniichan said, I study like hell, my brain aches all the time. So he has to play Carcassonne with me every night to power up my HP a bit. Also.. lately he has to watch dorama (Summer Snow) and anime (One piece) with me to put some life in me...

Because..
On 27th, my dog, Cooper lost. My dad took him on a walk, and a car nearly hit Cooper, so he was so scared, he run away. He ran so fast, my dad couldn't catch him, and no matter how loud he shouted, Cooper never stopped again.
Now we are kind of sure, that someone a bit after that put him in the care, because my dad saw a car stopping, then the car went away.
We did what we can to let people know we search for him. Now we can only wait for someone to call.
Please Cooper.. come home. We miss you so much!

Photobucket

Btw... we watched Innocent Love till the end. It was a good drama I think, and I'm glad that Nyekk oniichan liked it too. Now we are watching (as I wrote before) Summer snow and One piece at the same time, so SS gives us good stories and drama, and OP makes us laugh.

jyaaa.. mata ne.
I hope when I next write here, it will be good news.
Also, i have a new year's promise list to write tomorrow. And I will have a wish too, you surely know what I'm going to wish for.

Hey!

If you read this, then Merry XMAS and Happy New Year for You! :D

Mizuki is studying like hell for her big exam, so she probably won't come anywhere near the blog nowdays. So I think it's my resort to make best wishes like this xmas one :P

But before the new year comes, I think we might revisit the New Year promises we made last year, to see how much did we achive :D (I didn't check the first post date, but this blog is one year old no! Yaaay, たんじょうび!)

So, later!
Nyekk

PS: We are done with the JLPT test, it wasn't hard, we surely passed, the only question is the percentage. The results will only come in feb-mar T_T Lot of time!

<< Nyekk >> Preparation for JLPT

1 megjegyzés
Hey 皆さん!

The day after tomorrow will be the big day, 7th of December, the first Sunday of the month. The JLPT language test will be held on that day worldwide.
We will take the test, so today we prepared, and revised the things we learned, the mistakes we made back then, and tried to do some preparation for the listening part of the exam...but we didn't have any good dialogue to listen to!
But we feared not! Mizuki found the new Hana Yori Dango Final on a streaming site, so we watched that as a practice, without subtitles.

It had an interesting story, it had fun scenes, and the ending was happy (not many j-movies or dramas have this last one ^^), so it turned out that learning can be fun ^^;
And thanks to Mizuki's mother (Or St. Nicholas, who knows ^^), I ate my first Big Mac, I'm not fun of fast food, but it was delicious. Thank you! ^_-

So please if you read this, cheer for us on Sunday!
またね!
Nyekk

PS: As for the Pre-3kyuu test's results, we didn't pass, but only a little more, and we will definitely pass next year!

<< Nyekk >> pre-3きゅう test?

0 megjegyzés
As Mizuki wrote in her previous post, we did well on the pre-4 kyuu test. Actually we got invited by our teacher to try the pre 3-kyuu test, too!
I don't know how it will turn out, because I still didn't get the use of some particular particulas, that is, mismatching them. And that is on 4 kyuu level :D

Now we are trying our best to prepare as much as our time allows it. Of course it doesn't really matter how we will do on this test, but I think I can speak for the two of us, we want to do as well as we could, and not just go and write the test. (Now that's one long messed up sentence ^^;;;)

But there are competitors for our free time:

  • A class at the college, called "Information society" or something alike, we will have an exam on wednesday.

  • Doramas lol :P

Maneouvering (wtf word.. ^^) between these is hard, but がんばります!

皆さん、

So we got through the trial exam. And both of us passed ^^
Nyekk did really well, he got 91%, mine is 82% :)
That means, we would have passed the JLPT of 2007, with quite good marks.
Now we can concentrate the parts, that was hard for us.
For me, it was hard to choose between particulas (ha, ga, wo, ni, he...ect), and somehow I daydreamed under the listening (was thinking about "oh damn, I got that wrong in the previous part", so I didn't hear the question ^^;;;).
So I have to get myself together, because we are aiming for 90 or higher results.
I had nightmares about this, because we only got the results today.
Now we are happy, and hope Padi too got a good mark ^^
Only living creature that is not happy is my rabbit. She looks like a sated Garfield, in a pose of a duck-telephone.. really. You could just pick her up and call someone.
Hope you are all fine,
take care

EDIT: Aaaaaaa, forgot to tell. With Nyekk's help I managed to fix the java problem on the samsung mobile, now it works like a dream. I already put some Japanese programs on it. Videos looks like wow on it, and yesterday while we were waiting (how many w) for the results, I found out, that it has a bulit in support and program for pdfs, and it works really cool. Now this phone became my dream phone :P really ^^

Hey everyone!

Long tiem no see huh? :P
How is everyone on this fine day?

I have two happenings that I will write about.
The first: On Friday, Hikaru, Mizuki and I visited the Japan Foundation of Hungary, specially the library of it! It's a very interesting place, I think, it has a lot of books in Japanese, and some current magazines, it was good to see them. Mizu already got very fond of them, so we promised to go again next week ^^ That is, because as we got there, the library was already closed because of an oncoming event. It wasn't really a problem, because we planned to attend this event, but we suddenly had time before it started, as we went there earlier to see the library. So we thought we have time to eat some fast food, which turned out to be VERY fast ^_-. Luckily we got back in time, and did see the event.
The event was actually about two midaged women talking about how the Japanese art influenced the art of Europe. It should have been very interesting. But in fact, the first 50 minutes was like one of the woman reading out loud her presentation. It had an irritating part, that almost made me laugh. She said Japppan repeatedly, with so many 'p'-s :P
The second part was the exhibition part, the second woman showed us some paintings, mostly half naked women, and she tried to prove that there were simiralities among the japanese and the hungarian paintings. Like the woman on the pic formed a stylised S with her body, and she told us it's a japanese S...like there is an S letter in Japan lol.
So it should have been interesting, but they told us too much words we didn't understand, because we weren't into arts that much :P
After this event we stayed a little bit to accomodate Mizu's moe about magazines :P
All in all, たのしかったです。

The other one is, the title-event, the frightening pre-4kyuu test.

Okay, it wasn't THAT frightening :DDD
It was today, and was like the real one, we even had fake registration numbers and seat arrangement :D
It wasn't terribly hard, but it had some interesting questions. I had time for everything, I even understood most of the 聞きとり session too, with the incredibly slowly speaking j-woman. ^^
I feel it is good, I just hope it's over 90%, because Mizu said we have to achieve that level to start 3 kyuu next year. The results will be out today, so now we are waitiiiiing :D

Cheer for us!

Mata ne ^^

{{ Mizuki }} phones....

0 megjegyzés
皆さんへ

How was your week? Mine was a bit crazy so far.
So in my last post I wrote I have a new phone, a nokia n80 right?
That's what happened:

The girl, who's name is Mizuki, surfed on the internet, and found a program. It's called suiteki 2.0. It's a java program for mobile phones, which has a Japanese-English and Engish-Japanese dictionary in it, a kanji dictionary, and some other cool stuffs.
"Wow" she said, "it's the program I've been looking for for ages!!". She was happy and downloaded it (as it was totally free!!), and put it on her phone. Installing....
The mobile said "unable to install". What the.... she tried again and again. It was the second time, that she found a really good program for her phone, that could help her in her Japanese learning. The first one's name was "Express Japanese" and it has useful expressions and grammar in it. It too didn't work.
So she searched on the internet, to find out, that the problem is: nokia n80 has some issues with java, and it can't be helped. If there is a program that doesn't work, it will never do so. So she told with anger to Nyekk "a, moooou, I'll just switch with your Samsung!!". As Nyekk was selling a Samsung i607 alias Blackjack phone on the internet, he said "okey, you know what? try it out, and if you like it, we can switch". After 1,5 days, they switched. The Blackjack looks awesome, it's nice, and it runs java... but not quite well.
Now Mizuki is trying to help the java problem, will not give up (hopefully, but never say never). The problem is: she is getting to loose her trust in mobile phones..

So yeah, sorry for the 3rd person view again, but I'm just fed up with the mobiles ^^;;;;; I bought the nokia n80 to have a smart phone, that I can use for studying Japanese, but so far it didn't help me even a little bit. I hope the blackjack will, because it looks really nice and has a good battery life, screen is beautiful. So jvm (java virtual machine - that "plays" the java programs), fear me, 絶対勝つから!!!

Other stuffs..
Nyekk and I are a part of a "program" now. There is a community, that has a few Japanese university students, who wish to learn English. To be frank, it is schoolwork for them to be there, because their teacher had this really great idea, to start a community, where they has to practice English by writing diaries, and comments to the other's diaries - in English. She also invites a lot of foreign people, to help them. So we joined.
This week I found an interview with Horikita Maki, where I heard the question "why do you think you get roles as a boy so often?". It is an interesting question right? I've been wondering about that since I saw Hanakimi. Since there is "Tokyo Shounen" where she is schizophrenic, and her other self is a boy. But I couldn't understand what she answered. Also asked Nyekk if he has any idea about it, but he couldn't understand it either.
So I thought I should ask it in a diary in that community. They helped me ^^ Also the teacher asked me if I study Japanese like that, and well.. I halfly do so, because what I know now is half what I know from doramas and interviews. So I said yes.
And this morning (oh pf, I wrote mourning.. who would mourn??) I got two messages about this, so it seems she told her students about how I study :D It is so cool isn't it?? I feel kind of touched, and is a weird feeling, that in an English class in Japan, my way of studying Japanese has been mentioned.
This story became a bit long right? Sorry, but it meant a lot for me.

Also, Nyekk is keep saying, that I'm like I'm half Japanese, also my Dad said I always shake hands like I was Japanese. So I don't know, what do you think? I've even been told that on a picture I look like I'm half Japanese, and it was said by my Korean friend :D which is quite interesting.

Huh.. never mind me ^^ it just makes me happy.

We have been working on a video of the summer camp in the past month, it will soon be finished. I hope I can show it to you guys, I think it will be quite good and sometimes funny (we worked on the funny part, neee Oniichan? ^^)

At school, my test was good enough, so it made me happy again. Now I don't have to worry, that I can't go to do the exam.

This weekend we will have a trial JLPT4 exam at Ancsisan's. Wish me luck please ^^ If I do good on it, it will make me feel a bit eased, and more confident on the real exam in December 7th.

所で, why is a half naked musculine guy on the right side of this blog saying "5 tips to get a flat stomach"?? :DD 恥ずかしい。。。

I hope everyone is okey, take care of yourself, it's getting really cold outside. At least in Hungary.. ^^;;;

瑞希 (ah, and now I can write it down from heart lol...)

Ps: have I mentioned that now we started to learn to write kanji? it's so much fun for me ^^ I hope it is for Nyekk and Padi too!

EDIT: I found this little app, now I can see how many people are watching tis blog and from where :)

Hello :)

I haven't posted for a while again... it seems I can't change this habit ^^;;;

This is holiday now. We had Thursday and Friday off, now this is weekend.
I have been in a delay with some series so far.. so I watched Lost's 4th season.
It was really good I think. I liked it. Okey.. there was more people, who died in it again... but it was exciting and shocking.

Also, after Lost I watched Heroes' 2nd season. Now.. it was a bit scary I think, and sometimes weird things happened. Things I didn't wait for. As Nyekk told me, there are WTF moments in it. A lot. When you just feel "what the hell they are doing??". So there was a bunch of wtf moments in this season, so I thought, let's watch the 3rd season too. I stopped at the 3rd episode's beginning. It was too much for me ^^;;; I felt like, why on earth I'd want to watch the rest. I feel quite disappointed now, so I think I'm a Lostfan afterall.

And yesterday, we continued Trick's 2nd season with Nyekk ^^ I was happy to watch it. That series never disappoints me. It's just funny, great and sometimes sweet. I love both Naoko and Jirom, they are the best couple since I started to watch jdramas. Also we watched the first movie of Trick, and it was so funny, we laughed like hell.

After Trick movie, we watched the Shinobi. It was good.. at least I think it was good, and touching sometimes. And I was shocked at the end. That's the problem with Japanese movies.. you expect to the 2 lovers to be together at the end of the film, but they don't. Some of them will surely die ://// This is not the first time that I was hoping so much for them to get together and live happily ever after... but.

Speaking of endings. We watched a Korean movie as well, called Daddy long legs. And Nyekk accidentally said "ho, this is a Korean movie, that means we don't have to expect that one of the lovers will die".. then suddenly, one of the lovers died! Nyekk, you cursed the movie!!

Yeah, the truth is, we watched too many American movies bfore we started to eat up the Asian ones, so it makes us see those movies differently. Of course, a love story can be beautiful without happy end, but how nice it would have been if the girl didn't die in Taiyou no uta, or if Akira and Shuuji didn't left Nobuta alone with Mariko in Nobuta wo produce. ^^;;; okey, now I think I said enough. At least I know, that in Trick, it won't happen, because I've already seen the last movie XD

Ah I have a new phone.. again. It's a nokia n80. It is cool and handy. I had problems with the battery life, but i found out, that it was a screensaver program that ate my battery up lol. What is the use of a battery eating screensaver? It supposed to save my battery..

And I still have my eee pc, which is like a record you know :D there are just a few gadgets I have this long. It is nice to have it, I often use it at school to make notes and watch dramas online lol..

My pet rabbit is getting bigger and bigger. She is really cute ^^ she is like a you-can't-turn-me-off alarm, that wakes me up at 6:40-7:00. But I got used to it. Now I just wake up and go to my parents bed to sleep more :D Anyways, her final name is Coffee (I call her Kohii).

Woooah and we are super excited about the JLPT4 exam. But we finally started to learn to write kanji :D nothing can stop us :P although we could use some pray or omamori, atashitachi no tameni :D

Hope everyone is fine, take care of yourself, the weather is getting colder and colder.
See you later

Hey minnasan!

I have a little time now, so I decided to post. I am on the train now, hence the title, writing the entry on my brand new XDA Exec beast :P Since I don't know how to write the chickenhead symbols beside my name,I'll just use brackets now ^^

Now onto the post.

I always felt this blog needs some randomity,so I came up with this:

84372938578302985739927465.789430848482020284
hammer
cow
banana
counter strike

That's enough I think. And no,I didn't wrote google search words :P That would need more sex and violence style randomity to be effective.

Anyways,I changed my Vario II to 2 separate entities, the forementioned XDA Exec monster (mainly for its qwerty and vga screen) and Mizu's Siemens EF-81 (for it's sleekness cuteness factor :P) So far I'm satisfied, little worried about battery life because bluetooth, but we will see.

Today I have to turn in 2 photos for our application for the JLPT test. God I hate those photos, they just never look right, and they are bigger so chances I will have t cut my hair on the photo.

I think I will post now,I don't know about this browser, what if it decides not to post my looong writing.

Finally, a photo for testing

Sleepy peace

{{ Mizuki }} Tadaima

0 megjegyzés
Minna-san,

Tadaima... because I haven't wrote here for a while. Now I became to miss it, so here I am :)

お元気ですか。私は元気です。
It was quite the only thing I could write in Japanese a few months ago.
Now there is a language camp and an intensive course behind me, and I feel like I leveled up :) It's such a wonderful feeling to be able to understand more and more things in Japanese. Although it's still hard to make sentences, it makes me happy to just understand normal sentences. Now I believe in myself, and dare to watch dorama without English subs, even if I don't get 80% of it. It is fun to be able to catch some lines and understand them.

This December, our first exam will take place. I would like to do it. At first I didn't... because
1. I hate exams
2. I really hate exams
3. and I thought it doesn't mean anything, it's just a piece of paper, that says "yeah, you can read Japanese, and so what?".
But then I thought it would be so nice to be able to say, I'm 4kyuu and you? Then next year to say, How are you, I'm fine 3kyuu. (lol...)
So to be frank, now I would like to do the exam, and do it well to prove that I study Japanese for half a year now and for a reason.
So Nyekk-san, がんばりましょうぅぅぅ。。。

School has started, and I had to face the reality, I haven't got much class... so at the end it turned out I have like one class per day. What to do with the left of the day? I turned myself into "hw mizu mode", which means hardworking. So I'll get myself together for this semester's exams (and the same goes for the JLPT4 exam). Already learning for them.

But life would be boring without doramas, so I've been watching them still :)))
Here are the ones I've watched lately (movies too... sorryyyyyyy, long list):
last friends, dekichatta kekkon, suppli, the prince of tennis, zettai kareshi, taiyou no uta, liar game, grapevine, kanojo to no tadashii asobikata, ruri no shima, calling you, cinderella ni naritai, juken no kamisama, shindo, honey and clover, how to become myself, virgin snow, summer snow.

Yeah.. you can now officially call me the dorama-watching-monster.. hm, DWM... why is it so familiar to me? Isn't this word "DWM" is from my most hated class????? Nyekk, please tell me later.

About my life at the rest of summer:
I had the best summer of my life. I met with M from Korea and her friends, and had a jolly good time together (I'll cherish this day). I went to the summer camp which I really enjoyed and would never skip the next one. Also, in the camp I made a new friend H (*) - uhm, well, since Nyekk already wrote down her nickname - Hikaru, and my friendship with Padi got stronger I think. So I really enjoyed this summer :)

* well... I usually refer to people with their first name's first letter.. since I don't have permission to talk about them in this blog, and I think it's good in this way, but if you think it's okey to write down your name (just first one), tell me :)

Gadget-wise: I still got the eee pc (wow.. long time gadget lol), and bought a Casio Japanese-English electronic dictionary, which is really useful :)

A little bunny got into my life. She is black with a small white spot on her forehead. Her name is Coffee (or Kohii). She already changed my life, since she wants me to get up at about half past 5 and chewed on my Internet cable. So I learned how to fix a chewed Internet cable and succeded. Also I think I leveled up, and now I'm level 3 at caring about my bunny. That's because I can make her stay on my laps for more than 15 minutes and she comes to me when I call her... well.. at that time my dog also comes to me, but nevermind.

Woh... sorry for the long and boring post ^^;;;;
Actually I've reread my promises for 2008, and I think I mostly achieved them. But I wrote I'd post here more often, so I really want to do it :) Hopefully, from now on I'll post smaller things and more often.

Take care, and thanks for reading it till the end ^^;;;;

It's been a long time since i have written here. There isn`t any specific reason for doing that, it`s just I didn't feel like writing anything. Anyways, here comes a small briefing about what happened in this time gap:

Japanase studies:

I decided to take on the JLPT Level 4 test in december, so now I`m studying like a guzu (a little animal, which appearantly studies like hell). I have already had an intensive one week course, which gets you ready for the test. There are three of these. The course was fun, but by Friday, I was a little exhausted, and already dreamed about rooms full of いけぞうし(a form of japanese adjective), and awakeaned to the word ことし(this year). So yeah, my brain kinda went crazy. But that wasn`t all the language course I took, it was just the beginning...read on :P

Summer AnimeCon:

This summers anime convention wasn't held in the capital city Budapest, but in a smaller one, called Gyor. In fact, it's tradition to hold the summer convention at rural cities, and the local anime fan clubs take part in the happening.

Mizu and I on the train

I was going together with Padi, and it was that Mizu wanted to visit her friend in Gyor, so she decided to escort us there on the train. While travelling, I tried to give them some of my freshly aquired japanese grammar knowledge, with mixed results, I'm not the one who can teach well.

The view at the con

Arriving at the con, I noticed that it was not so big. In fact, it was small. One hall of kiosks, one gym disguised as cinema, this was where the cosplayers marched on the stage, too. There were also 2 smaller rooms for console players, and dancemat maniacs. We decided to watch the cosplay competiton, but the microphones and the loudspeaker was so bad we barely managed it to the end. After that, we headed to take a good look around the sellers. I bought an Ayashi no Ceres manga, in japanese ofcourse. It will be fun when I will have the ability to read it :D We weren't staying until the very end, because our train was leaving, and we wanted to catch it. One more thing, the weather was so hot, that if you left a stone out on the sun, it would surely melt into lava. But we endured it well, and the train had A/C.

Japanese Camp:

This is the MAIN EVENT, the diamond of the year, the ultimate :P I can only talk in extremes, because it was simply so goooood. I have had a wonderful time in that one week, I got to know new friends.

With some of my new friends on the boat: Hikaru(far left) and Tim(far right), Padi(middle)

I'm not going to write about all the things that happened at the camp, because that would be too f-word long. We played a lot of games, learned Carcassone and Go, both of them are very addictive. I learned about calligraphy, budhism, chinese, and haiku. We even wrote some haikus, but they were just so bad :DDD

Senseitachi

I even did karaoke! I have never sang publicly before, but I enjoyed it much (I only speak for myself :P) We learned that Popotan is the anime where someone surely gets naked per episode, that videos about japanese foods are not just ugly but boring as well, what can you love in a bear candle (thanks to むすばれたいの), that tohou is the repetitive flash thingie that gets in your head, and that you shouldn't eat the Nanami Special :)

Doing our best on the entrance sorting test ^^

And lastly, but not leastly, we had language classes as well, so we were cantating nouns, verbs, adjectives all day in our free time.

Rapidly dieing in overload :D

At the last day, we went to a nearby city for a full day sightseeing, we went 40 meters high, and 3 meters down to a museum, where they showcased the famous hungarian suasage "Pick" manufacturing process. おもしろいね。^^

Posing as old hungarian peasants

But it was hell a lot of fun, and life is hasty and undeterministic, but I can be sure in one thing: I will be there next year again, no matter what! ^^

Bubble blowing time

That's already a long post so i will cut it here.

Stay long, stay well.

{{ Mizuki }} Summer time

0 megjegyzés
Minna,

First of all, sorry for not writing here recently...
After school and the exams ended, I got a job, so I had about a week freetime :)

How about that week?
o we had a Museums' Night (more about it later...)
o last few Japanese lessons
o new gadget (nyehehehe)

Museums' Night

Sooooo, about the Museums' Night. What the heck is that and why anyone whould pay for seeing museums, you'd ask. Normally, I don't go to museums very often. Of course it's different while you are abroad, because then you want to see everything. But this night is not like the others. It's Saint Ivan's night, the shortest night of all.
That's the third time I attend to this event, and every time I go with friends. It's like a yearly habbit, and I always have a great time. So this year I went with Nyekk, Csaba (our friend and classmate) and Shasha (my friend). I enjoyed it very much :)

(Csaba is not on the picture, but I guess he would be angry at me if I put a pic of him here anyway..)

For me, the night's funniest part was when Shasha and I found a room, where we could do a "first class" weather report... well.. it wasn't really first class, since I laughed the whole time.. especially when people came in and started to watch us.. but here you go:

At the end of the night (about 1:30 in the morning) we were so tired, we nearly fall asleep on a bench.. at least I nearly did... then a very unpleasant experience woke me up. This night there are museum buses, to help you travel from A museum to B museum. But these buses are really crowdy.. I think it's like the subway at Tokyo.........

Japanese class

After the exams we had 2 classes left (if I'm right). I was a bit sad about this, but hey! We'll have a camp soon, and a total immersion programme (a full week!!!) and the next course in September :)
Also, Nyekk and our friend and Japanese classmate (also school mate) Padi will go to a Summer Animecon (described here). It will take place at Gyor, another city. So while they are there, I'll visit my friend ^^ Looking forward to it!

New gadget
And tadaaaaaaaaaaaaaaam, I've bought an eee pc :D

It has linux, more specific Kubuntu - Hardy Heron on it, installed by Nyekk (thanks mate!!!). It looks nice isn't it? ^^

Have to say.. Hanakimi looks awesome on it :PP

Hedgehogs...

I nearly forgot to mention here, that in the middle of my exams I've found 3 little hedgehogs. Named: Zuzu, Zizi (by mom, I gave her the name, Roku) and Zeno. I had to gave them away, since I didn't have the time to take care of them. I've found a good place for them. I hope they'll be okey.
To save the memory, here's a video.

Thanks for coming back to this blog :) Wish you all a wonderful summer time :)

{{ Mizuki }} Sakura hanami, Japanese day and SakuraCon

1 megjegyzés
Hey,

Hisashiburi ne?
Sorry for not posting for so long. I've been a bit busy.
But today, I'm going to write about things that happened to us in the last few weeks.

-----------------------------------------(^o^)-------------------------------------------
Fuveszkert

So first of all, we visited a big garden, called "Fuveszkert", which is located at Budapest. It wasn't our idea though, it was our friend's. The reason why we went there, because as you may know already, the japanese cherry trees (sakura) blossoming nowadays (okey okey.. 1 or 2 weeks before I write this). We still have blossoming cherry trees, but the ones that are in this garden are real Japanese ones. Maybe imported? So we went there to see them, and took some photos :)

Here you go ^^

these are pictures made by not only us, but by our friend as well

Some "artistic" pictures, taken by me :P I just like them hehe

-----------------------------------------(^-^)-------------------------------------------
Japanese day

Secondly, we had a Japanese day. There were events, like tea ceremony (where we got to know that it's not really a ceremony, but tea art, where tea artists make tea and entertain the visitors [with tea... and artistic moves]), ikebana, calligraphy (duh, more about this later), anime/manga (the best line was: Hungary, where even the Dragon Ball manga was unsuccessfull), haiku, and fighting forms (karate, aikio etc).
About the calligraphy.. yeah, we thought that we can see things like real artistic kanji paintings.. but instead, we got an old woman, who draw us some kanji and hiragana with markers... I didn't made photos of it, because it was such a disappointment :(

Anyways, here are some pictures (agaiiiin)

All in all, I had fun, and enjoyed taking part in this event. I just hope we get more events like this.
And my hope comes true this weekend Yaaaay!

-----------------------------------------(^A^)-------------------------------------------
SakuraCon

hey, yeah.. we have an animecon this weekend :D Well, "what the hell is animecon?" you may ask. It's a big event in most of the European countries. People, who like anime, manga, jpop etc get together in a huge place, to enjoy themselves and meet with other fans. In the event, there are usually cosplay, karaoke, video games, you can buy manga, watch AMVs etc. We have it twice a year in Hungary. The last one was in October, and we have one now :) Ashita.. ^^
So we are already excited, and prepairing for the event. Nononononono, before you got the wrong idea, we are not planning to do cosplay :D It would be nice though, to cosplay Mizuki, but I don't really want to dress as a boy and travel through the city ^^;; Cosplay in Hungary is still in the very beggining, so people usually don't get why on earth there are Shongokus, Usagis, or Naruto characters on the streets :))
We call tis second animecon SakuraCon, because of the blossominf of Sakura.
Objective: buy HanaKimi manga!!!! + get some more students for the language school we attend to.

The reason of the last one: we also got the information about the school at the last animecon ^^

-----------------------------------------(o_O)-------------------------------------------
PSP

Hm.. what else. Oh! I've got a Sony PSP ^^ do you have any idea how cool is it to watch manga or jdorama on this console??? I was shocked and drooled over it already :D yeah.. Although, my little Nintendo DS lite has gone. Because it was part of the action, getting a PSP (I switched again yeah..). But I'm happy with my PSP now. I really fell in love with the game, Crush.

-----------------------------------------(>_<)-------------------------------------------

There's a possibility that we won't post here for a while. We soon have our exams period, and Nyekk is already very busy with his studies, so this animecon is our last big enjoy-your-time-while-you-can weekend. But don't run away, we don't close this blog :)

-----------------------------------------(X_X)-------------------------------------------

And lastly: we will make you pictures (^^)d

PS: sorry for my lame English this time. I'm not in the mood to find my grammar mistakes ^^;; and please, let me know if you can't see the pictures (some say that they can't be seen from some places). Thanks

<< Nyekk >> Hana Yori Dango s2

0 megjegyzés
Sooo minna!

It's me again, i had to grab keyboard, because I finished with Hana Yori Dango second season! Here is a little babbling about is ^^ (If you didn't see it, it might contain *** SPOILERS ***)

The series took a good start, i liked the two new york episodes. There was some fog in the plot, you couldn't understand what is why, but that's alright for a first episode. Ikuta Toma played a bad guy here, but was cool in glasses, so it's alright I think ^^

Later on, it was a little loopy, things went around from "I don't want you Makino - I want you Domyouji" to "I don't care - I don't care" then to "I like you Makino - Maybe me too" to finally "I want to marry you - I don't want to be with you". And this is what went on, for some rounds ^^ In the meantime of this "main event", we get to know that Hanazava Rui is such a versatile person, he plays the violin, then he sits at the window, he plays the violin again, he stares out at the window, and he plays his violin at the window. And after all this playing the violin probably went out of tuning, so he is tuning the violin sometimes, even at night ^^

But for the end, it just went flat, like Domyouji going around and telling every single character that Makino is the most important thing in his life. After everyone gladly aknowledged this, he flew a helicopter, does NOT had an accident, then he gets out of the helicopter, and falls off the cliff! Is he dumb or what ^^ Then, miraculously all his memories off Tsukushi is gone! Oh my, what to do! ^__^ Then add an evil Toda Erika to the soup, then the story gets the neccessary spice :P できました! Then lots of trying, crying then memories back, and all is well, we arrived to the last episode.

It's the one of those cheesy ending, when everyone suddenly appears, the most evil ones turn into angels. Weirdest is that when the Makinos get ready for the prom, they get into the car and set off. Then, because the Makino papa is not goot at driving, they stuck in the mud somewhere countryside. They get out to push, constantly swearing that they will be late. Theeen, out of nowhere, superTodaErika runs for the rescue! Now where the hell did she hide all the time? Maybe, she set the trap for the car, so she can help, and they will think she changed? Maybe she did it because she is so evil? We will never know.

Off they go, the crowd is gathering at the prom, and everybody looks for Tsukushi, of course. But the Makinos break down again. This time, they are out of gas! Maybe the evil Toda Erica put a hole on the tank, too? Anyways, they remain there, and nominate Tsukushi to go alone, it's far away, but maybe she can make it!

So she goes alone, when black limousines stop. Guess what, Domyouji mother walks in the pic, and gives a limousine to Tsukushi, so she don't have to walk, they persuade her to get in. So she is in the car! She sure won't be late now...guess what, when she gets out of the limo, its already evening! Did they went to Tokyo and back in the meantime?

Then with the reunion of the main couple, it would be sooo touching...if it wouldn't seem like they were rehearsing for a football worldcup or what ^^

Anyway, after that only the unavoidable last wise sentences remain, where every important person says an important one-liner you should never forget.

But, never mind how cheesy it was, I just couldn't stop smiling ^^ (Which was unfortunate, because I watched it during Linear Algebra class ^^;;;)

So it was good, in the end, now I started First Kiss, starring Mao as Mio, so far so good ^^

Oooy minna!

Kisashiburi da ne?

School has been a little too much lately.I wanted to post here earlier, but was always short on time, but now you won't escape ^^

Sadly, the title is not for real T_T

That's Mizu-chan in the corner, taking some pics for her friends ^^

Some days ago,we went to a shopping center called Asia Center. It's two big building populated with asian, mainly Chinese and Vietnamese. We went there to eat a Korean food called "jjajjangmyun" (if I wrote it right,Mizu-chan will correct me [edit:]And did she so, it's actually jjajangmyun, thanks ^^). Unfortunately, they didn't have any, but we decided to hang out there a little more, and found some interesting stuff. ^^

Here is the first one:

Mizuki taking a punch at me

It was the second objective of our mission: A boxing pen! It's a little ant sitting on the end of a pen. It's arms are moveable by two buttons on it's back. What good it is?
Now,we often get bored at class, and if we are really silly,we would hold 3 round box matches with these pens ^^

I feel like a kid again when going into a toy store. I tell you I often childish,so I really like toy stores ^^ I always try everything that makes sound ("mooo"). So hereby,I present you a photo of me,laughing my ass off with a lightsaber :D

"Luke, I'm your father" ^_^

It was fun :P

For other things, we are progressing well with our Japanese studies, last occasion we finished with most of the hiragana, we got a lot of hiragana to learn for the next test, and so many to confuse with each other. >_< Hope we can make it, I'm trying hard ^^

That's all for today ^^

<< Nyekk >> Japanese Language Course

0 megjegyzés
Heeeey minna!

Today was a big day! Besides St. Patrick's day (which is what Mizu-chan celebrated by buying a pencil bag with "patrick" on it) and the birthday of countless individual people, it was our fitst day on a japanese language course! ^^

Because it is so important, we decided not to be late, and take a look around carefully, so we could find the place of the school in time. That said, we decided to go earlier a little. The only mistake was, that little took as long as 2 hours! So we thought: Oh well, at least we have time to search for the school!

The search was epic, very much like:
- Where it is?
- There.

And there it was. So we still had 1 hour and 55 minutes left. What to do...When someone is bored, there are three things to do generally:
1. write to the blog (duh!)
2. watch doramas (not available)
3. eat.

So we picked the last one, and went into the local McDonalds to order some fresh, tasty, and healthy cheeseburgers. Eating took a lot of our time, almost 10 minutes. So after that, Mizu-chan (being a computer minded girl) noticed the info terminal, we took some photo with that ^^ Like this one:

Pretty good pic, huh? ^^

Then we gone out to pass time. We bought Mizu-chan's pencil bag, then we walked around a little, then a little more, then more more ^^ Then decided to go back to the building (which is on the outside, was extremely ugly, like it was gonna fall apart any minute) spotted a friend, and gone in.

So there we were, excited, listening to the previous lesson's end (Mizuki: kakkoi! suteki! She speaks like Maki!).And some times later, the lesson started. There were eight of us. We thought about countless times how we gonna learn about introduction (Watashi wa Nyekk desu, yoroshiku.) but there was nothing like it.
There was only : a i e u o ka ki ke ku ko sa shi se su so
That's right, we learned hiragana, and we practiced writing. It was a very cheerful lesson, I think the group will be a good one ^^

And the most important thing in the lesson: The Cat (with a capital C). It was simply hilarious, walking on our desks on her(his?) own, attacking our exercise books, speeding under the table, it can't be described in words ^__^

Tanoshkatta desu, the japanese would say, and so do I, I'm looking forward for the next lesson, but until then, we got homework, and hiraganas to learn, because there will be a tesuto next time ^^
Yoooooosh, japanese benkyou ikuzo!!!

{{ Mizuki }} Happy St Patrick's day!!!

0 megjegyzés
Hey,

The pic is not mine: QueenOfDorks

It's St Patrick's day. A precious day for those who like Irish culture. As for me, I've been a fan of "The Corrs" since ~2001. So I kinda celebrated this day with drinking Guinness and going somewhere to listen to Irish traditional music.

The year before last year, I went to a place, called "Fono" with my aunt, and we had a wonderful time. Unfortunately, last year I missed it :\

This year? This year I'll also miss the whole celebrate-and-drink-with-us thing.
What I'm gonna do instead? What else? Go to study Japanese :D Yooosh, it's finally the day!!!
We will post about the course later. Wish us luck ;)

Hm.. and someone has a birtday, am I right? Caroline Corr (drummer of The Corrs) just turned 35 years old. Happy Birthday Caro :)

Speeking of which... As it's St Patrick's day.. here's a better pic of my tin whistle and bodhran (I have a bodhran, because Caro plays it, and it has a sound like heartbeat ^^, you can see this instrument in her hands as well)

As I mentioned before, my Mom and I went to eat sushi yesterday. The sushi was oishii, after I realized that I don't like seawed.. so I just ate it without it :)

And yoooosh, I bought a new bike. I really don't like MTBs, so I wanted a normal, retro bike. Isn't she beautiful?

{{ Mizuki }} Ukulele and the rice balls

0 megjegyzés
Hey,

Back to the blog again, sorry for not posting for a while.
So, yeah, the rumours are true, I've really bought a little hawaii guitar, called ukulele. It's really sweet and light :)
Here you can see me tuning it up :)

My dad was the photographer today. Believe me, it's not that easy to tune an ukulele when the wind is so strong.

I also made a picture for you guys of my intruments. I've been collecting them for a while now, so here's the result.
Instruments are: piano, spanish guitar, ukulele, 3 tin whistles (the one that is in the box is a gift from Nyekk ^^, thank you!!), a bodhran (Irish drum)

Yesterday was quite a walk-till-your-legs-fall-off day for Nyekk and me. I planned a bit too much business meeting (you see, I buy things on the net, then I have to go to get them), and put them all for Friday. So we walked a lot. And because there were so much free time between the meetings, we decided to have lunch at a shopping center.

By good fortune we spot a small restaurant, that said "Asian food" and had a little board saying "sushi". And look what I've found!!

I know that in English it's called Japanese-sweet-rice-balls-filled-with-sweet-red-beans.. but it's quite long, and the short version, JSRBFWSRB is even more complicated. And since I'm sure it has a short Japanese name, I ask you... can you please tell me the name of it? I think it's not anpan, because anpan is made from bread, right?

2 more days to start the Japanese course. I'm really excited ^^ I can't wait to say it aloud: Watashi wa Petora desu, yoroshiku. I'm sure that will be the first line we learn there :P then I'll point to every thing and say: sore wa kuruma desu; kore wa enpitsu desu.. or should I just say "hideki" (see: Chobits)?

And I finally sold my Nec mobilepro 900. I'm a bit sad about it, because it was a good gadget, I liked it. But we found a line as an excuse. It was "it's a good gadget, I like it but it's obviously not for me". :P

That's all folks :) (bunnies are so kawaii!!! there are bunnies everywhere now because of Easter)

Mizuki

PS: we'll visit that Asian food restaurant with my mom tomorrow (hopefully), because I saw there sushi too.. I would like to try it :) I'll try to make pictures :)

<< Nyekk >> Attack of the wasps!

0 megjegyzés
Yaaay, spring is coming! Yellow. Especially in the shopping centers, where the new fashion collections have arrived. Yellow. Beautyful new clothes for women, skirts, tops, trousers, dresses, in all the colors of the rainbow! Yellow...wait a minute, what did I say?

Colors of the yellow?

I'm looking around, and what do I see?

...YELLOW...!

This.

And this.

And this, too.
Yellow and black. Everywhere. Are there a mutant wasp queen willing to build an army of women-wasps for herself, of not suspecting human women and girls? It would seem so. Anyways, it will be a yellow-black summer, if everyone follows fashion :D

Today, Mizuki bought an Ukulele (a lil hawaiian guitar, she will surely show it), and while we were waiting, I witnessed this situation:

The tiny laptop in the guy's hand is an Asus EEE-701, a little linux based laptop, which was Mizukis last laptop-gadget-love, but for other circumstances (it was more expensive than in the first news) she didn't buy one. But the longing doesn't dissapear that easy, I noticed that when she made puppy eyes for that little white clamshell ^^

That's for today ^^,
Nyekk
