{{ mizuki }} The rest of the summer camp :P

0 megjegyzés
Hello!

So as we predicted, we couldn't write about the camp daily :) poor Nyekk got tired after the 3rd one, and I guess he couldn't continue.

So what happened after the last post?

The food got better :) we had meat!! I don't know, I ate mostly everything (except for liver, I hat liver brr), so we got over of the first day's roasted eggplants (it could have been good... except that it wasn't).
We got used to the place we lived too. It was not a palace, not even a one star hotel, but we could live with it. Because this year's classes were more exciting than the last year's. We had so many different classes to choose from:

- particulas ("dreaded particulas!" //Nyekk)
- listening
- JLPT3 test trials
- translating

These were the classes we had to attend, and as if we were not already tired after all these, we could choose from these optional ones:

- i-go
- calligraphy
- Chinese/Korean/Vietnamese
- watching dorama

So it was really fun! And you would never believe what i have done! Instead of watching dorama at night, i studied Korean XDD Yeah, well they watched Yasha, which I didn't really like, so..

There were only 3 of us who were crazy enough to learn all 3 other languages (Chinese/Korean/Vietnamese), so we had to learn more than the others (3 as in Nyekk, my roommate and I), but it was fun to be able to get a bite from all of them :) Next year there will be Thai too, I heard.

The translating part, where our guest, Naomi-san helped us translating a Hungarian fairy tale to Japanese was a separated class: There were 2 groups (A and B), and one day it started with the A group, the other day with the B group. So our free time was always different, sometimes it was after the test-class, sometimes after the translating-class. In these free times we mostly went for shopping (food ^^;;), or to the beach.

There were two 'adventure' days too. First we went to Veszprem, which is a nearby city. As soon as we got there there rain started to fall like hell, so we had to find some cover. Then we just did sightseeing and all.

The second adventure was in Tihany. Well it was a tough one i have to say! We did hiking! it was 12km long! 12.. KM.. long. I have to admit I never thought i could walk so much, and up to a cliff. If I were not that tired, I would surely shout something from up there :))

We also found the 1st part of a multicache (geocaching), which we let go, because we had no energy to continue. Speaking of geocaching, Nyekk and I brought our caching gps handhelds too. While the hiking, one of our teacher who also lead us asked me if we headed in the cache's direction. I always said where it would be.. then after like 1 hour I realized, that that very cache, that little bastard was at Budapest, and I left the gps in a 80km scaling (_ _)........

At that time, 1/3 of the camp's people went home because of certain reasons, so the hiking group was kinda small, also our teacher and her husband missed the train, so they were left behind T.T

So, all in all, the camp was great. I already forgot how I felt about the place where we had to sleep... ^^;; (no, not really). And we learned a lot again. I remember how much we learned in a week the last time, and I think we learned at least as much this time too.

I heard the next year's camp will be totally different. I don't want to spoil it yet, especially because the plans are not sure yet, but if it will be as our teacher said, it will be great!! I will post about it when the plans are for sure :)

School is starting soon, so I spend my last weeks of the summer with watching One Piece on full speed (means: I watch like 15-20 episodes per day ^^;;;;;;).

Hope you have a nice summer.

Daytime, you can always have others around you
Laugh together, play together, pass along the day
Then night comes, and you are suddenly alone
Alone with your thoughts, locked into your soul
You know no one can help you at night
When you think there is destiny,
Only to find out if there is, it has a mean humor
When you notice you can't live your dreams
Only live in them
When you see that the future your heart laid out for you,
Is fake and impossible
When you think love should be happy and warm
But actually it is more of painfull
And you wonder if there is anything good left in life at all.

That's the moment you become an adult.

Finally, Bye,bye childhood

<< Nyekk >> Japanese Camp - Day 2 - Getting mansioned

...The day when we got to know that not all disposable cups can be disposed...

If I remember correctly, this is the second day of this Japanese camp
(actually I'm writing this on the third day already, so it's kind of
cheating, but what hekk)

The day started with a headache, a rather disturbing dream, and a long
walk to our designated eating place. It's a small restaurant, where we
get breakfast and lunch. Breakfast was easily forgettable, and lunch
was a surprise: no meat. Our teacher is a vegetarian, at least she
cannot bear eatinh meat. So she ordered menu without meat. Some of us
were not really happy about this idea, but I think if they cook it
tasty, I don't need the meat.

We started our lessons, there are all kinds of them, with teachers
rotating with time. We had listening, tests, and particulas (dreaded
particulas!). Our classroom is on the shore of Balaton, so we have a
good view of the lake from there. In there, we learnt about a new
phenomena (at least for me): Non-disposable disposable cups. The story
is short. We needed disposable cups, but it was Sunday, so they
wouldn't sell us disposable cups, only LEND them. So we had to keep an
eye of them, because they are disposable after all, they have a
one-time-lifetime usage. And on Saturday we will have to return them.

Also, today we had a class with a native Japanese, who speaks only
Japanese, not even english. On her lesson, we have to translate a
story into japanese, it's a spanish tale in hungarian , about a man
called Robert. He exchanged his heart for an iron one, to lose his
feelings and get into the legendary city of fortune. My partner
doesn't understand hungarian, so we had to translate it into english
first, then into japanese.

At the end of the day, we had chinese and korean lessons, they were
interesting, especially korean, we learned the writing system, it was
really logical.

That's all for today, see you tomorrow!

<< Nyekk >> Summer camp 2009 - First day hickups

From the previous entry You must know already, how much we loathed for this years summer camp, the unreplacable event of the year.
And it's not a good omen, if the first day starts with minor dissappointments. And all the worst if they are everything but minor.
When we arrived at the place we will stay for the next few days, we just looked the building with a critical eye: it's small, one story height, and looks like a changing room on a football field on the outside. If you dare to enter the front door, you will find yourself on a narrow corridor (narrow, 2 people can pass each other even not so easily). Rooms open either way along the walls. It looked very low cost at the first and second sight.
The first shock was the room, it was narrow, with four unidentifiable substance stained bed, greasy carpet, ona small.window, no cupboard or gardrobe, only one shelf, a table, a fridge, and a small tv-set. I decided to keep my clothes in my bag, founding no place to be appropriate for them. Last year, we had separate bathroom with two sinks for each room, but now we found no thing like that in our room. The "shower room" is on the end of the corridor, more on that a little later. The beds are well used, Padi's have a massive convex hole in his mattrace.
Next, we have a kitchen, where the tables stick with some gooey stuff, and there is a pan with who knows how old grease in it. We didn't spend much time there yet, I don't think we will.
And the last room, the room of dark menaces. The room with the loos and showers. Firstly, the restroom has no sink. There is soap, papertowell, only no sink. It's a weird experience. The girls' have sink, but no soap. All three in the same time seems to be a no go. Then there are the showers, three of them in one little room. There are black penicilin spores living on the shower tray and the tiles. It looks utterly disgusting. We bought cheap slippers to wear them until showering, not to catch some symbiont.
All in all, the place is terrible, we all loathe for our confy rooms from last year at Mako. We have the Balaton here at our feets, but it's just not the same in this rathole.
And all our lessons will be at a different place, and the restaurant where we will eat everyday is 1-2 kms away. So it's a great traning for the body and the soul.
Now I still have to get some sleep until morning, I hope tomorrow we will se much better about the place.

Nyekk
P.s.: My friends are just great, we are having fun here, regardless of the state of this...thing. Without them, I may be at home with the first train.

Hey,

Long time no see :) I'm on a vacation right now (yes..again). But before I got here we had a little magic in our lives :)

So, as you may know, the 6th movie of Harry Potter is out this summer. They first showed it on 22th of July here, and we got to see it on 23th. We, as Nyekk, Padi, Norbi and I.

The title of this blog.. well, movie posters looks like this.. really. We laughed a lot on that... like they can't resize the font to put it on the posters.

The movie was great, I had a lot of fun. It was funny and had a lot of teenage love. I often think that teenage love is being decribed too hot in Twilight, so what they showed us in HP6 was pretty sweet and light :)

I didn't like the end tough, it was a bit too fast and blurry for those who didn't read the book 3 times (like me lol) and they made us to think that Harry was just too loyal and a coward to help Dumbledore, instead of being a rock (because of Dumbledore's charm). But Hermione had a punch line at the last part:
Harry and Hermione is talking about how Dumbledore died and that they must find all the other horcruxes. Then a big silence.. "Ron's okey with it y'know...... You and Ginny". But it felt like. "hey, Dumbledore died, but Ron is okey with it!". Soon after we left the cinema, it became an ending line for everything, like "shit the subway just left, but Ron's okey with it" or "altough i didn't hear what you said, Ron's okey with it".
Also Harry had a scene like he was from a western movie after he drank the Felix Felicis. We laughed our ass off on that part.

Speaking of laughing...
