If I remember correctly, this is the second day of this Japanese camp
(actually I'm writing this on the third day already, so it's kind of
cheating, but what hekk)
The day started with a headache, a rather disturbing dream, and a long
walk to our designated eating place. It's a small restaurant, where we
get breakfast and lunch. Breakfast was easily forgettable, and lunch
was a surprise: no meat. Our teacher is a vegetarian, at least she
cannot bear eatinh meat. So she ordered menu without meat. Some of us
were not really happy about this idea, but I think if they cook it
tasty, I don't need the meat.
We started our lessons, there are all kinds of them, with teachers
rotating with time. We had listening, tests, and particulas (dreaded
particulas!). Our classroom is on the shore of Balaton, so we have a
good view of the lake from there. In there, we learnt about a new
phenomena (at least for me): Non-disposable disposable cups. The story
is short. We needed disposable cups, but it was Sunday, so they
wouldn't sell us disposable cups, only LEND them. So we had to keep an
eye of them, because they are disposable after all, they have a
one-time-lifetime usage. And on Saturday we will have to return them.
Also, today we had a class with a native Japanese, who speaks only
Japanese, not even english. On her lesson, we have to translate a
story into japanese, it's a spanish tale in hungarian , about a man
called Robert. He exchanged his heart for an iron one, to lose his
feelings and get into the legendary city of fortune. My partner
doesn't understand hungarian, so we had to translate it into english
first, then into japanese.
At the end of the day, we had chinese and korean lessons, they were
interesting, especially korean, we learned the writing system, it was
really logical.
That's all for today, see you tomorrow!
