Yesterday (01.30.) we went for a little geocaching with Nyekk and Padi. It was Nyekk's and my first time, so it was really exciting!
We decided to bring with us some koordinates to choose from. We started near to my house, a place called Orczy park. Padi said it has 3 caches, only one of them is real, and it contains hints to the other 2.
While wandering we found a place, which is for kids to practice the rules of the roads. I remember cycling there when I was smaller. The funny thing is, it got a little gas station :D

After that, we saw this little wooden house on the top of a tree. I don't think anyone would have the curage to climb up there, but you can never know...

Near to that house Padi found the geo-cache. We opened it to see what's inside ^^ Look:
The little notebook is for leaving a note there for the future geocachers, and you can take a treasure if you leave something else for exchange. We didn't took anything, but left this in the logbook:
2009.01.30.
山図市 - みつけた
I wrote this to the other logbooks as well. I wonder if the next cachers think we were Japanese....

After that, Nyekk had a little shefting.... exchanging mobiles :) He got a really cute Blackberry ^^ I hope he is happy with it now :P So we had to head from Pest to Buda (to be more specific, to Obuda, which is a bit further). I haven't had much for breakfast, and Nyekk told me the day before that he would treat me with ramen to celebrate that I got my major :) so we went to the Momotaro Restaurant.
Yeah.. if you don't know in Japanese, the three kanji says: Momotarou :)
'Momotaro' is a famous Japanese "fairy"tale. I'm reading it right now, because I got a bilingual picture book from the library (Japanese - English).... it is really for Japanese kids, but it's fun to read. I got 'Grandfather cherry blossom' too.
All three of us ate different ramen:
o Nyekk - Momotaro ramen
o Padi - Spicy and sour ramen
o mizuki - Chiken ramen
Chicken ramen looked like this:

It was so delicious I could cry (do I sound like Shinta-san from Teppan shoujo Akane?!). Thank you Nyekk for treating me ^^
Eating ramen there is not so easy you would think...... the bowl is so huge, it takes an hour to eat it, then you feel like you have rocks in your stomack. So I felt like going home and rest all day. But the others got me to go to the Margaret island to continue the geocaching.
On the Margaret island, we had fun at a ruin. Padi jumped here and there, we felt like he could use the power from the PSP game 'Crush'. Nyekk felt like startle me, which you can see on the video. Yeah.. sorry we spoke in Hungarian and I feel like speaking random Japanese sometimes.
For those who are not familiar with the language, here is a little dictionary:
o matte - wait (chotto matte - wait a little)
o hidoi - you evil Nyekk, you scared the **** out of me.... (actually it means someone is evil/bad)
o daijyoubu? - are you alright?
o konaide - don't come
o nagai video - long video
o baka - stupid
For those who are not familiar with the Hungarian language, we were talking about how Padi could use the Crush and that it would be funny for me to fell down from the wall while taking the video...
So we had a lot of fun, try geocaching out if you have to many freetime, it's great.
Sorry Nyekk.. I thought of giving you the chance to write half of this post, but then the wave got me. (but you can write about the nostalgie movie watching thing :D).
Sorry for the long post.... but I hope you like it.
mizuki
PS: Oh and Nyekk found this kinda funny thing on the bus. BKV is the travelling company in Budapest, and they changed their logos. Now if you look really close.... doesn't that subway ikon looks like you are travelling by portal? (Portal is a famous Valve game, where you have a start-point portal gate and an end-point one. The gates look like an oval ring :))
