Hello,
As Nyekk wrote about it in the last post, we had a good day on my birthday. We walked a lot, and it seemed like a very good excercise for my body, although it was a bit cold. But the view worth it :) If you come to Hungary or you already live here, go up to the Gellert Hill, and look down to the city when it's dark. Wonderful view.
I got so nice presents for my birtday ^^ I got a tea set from Nyekk, and a sushi set from Padi, so now I might as well throw a Japanese party :D I got a Japanse point-and-speak book from a dear friend of mine from Japan (thanks Y-chan), which will be very helpful when I go to Japan, since it has all the words I need when asking for information. From my parents I got a mobile (with Nyekk's help, kind of cheap), a Sony Ericsson w380i (yeah I know, I know.. a phone again :D I'm just so helpless), and another extension for Carcassonne (I got it earlier, at the time of the big Carcassonne party) and my childhood's favourite boardgame called Aunt Agatha's will (or Deadend 13th). My grandparents and my aunt gave me financial support for my Japanese courses :) I was so happy. Really, thank all of you ^^
Speaking of Japanese courses. WE MADE IT!!! We found a time to held it, which is good for everyone :D the 3kyuu course will be once in a fortnight (I just found this in the dictionary :D sorry. So I mean once in two weeks lol) on wednesday, and the kanji course will be on tuesday, every week... in the morning. So it might be a bit hard to get up so early, since we got used to get up late and stay up late, so we are like bats. But it worth everything. "Iiiiiiii got my course, I got my major, I got my dog, I got my head, I got my heart, I got my coffee, I got myyyyyy LIFE" (imagine the tune of the song from Hair)... lol I'm such an idiot ('~`);;; (<- thanks for this, Padi san).
Yesterday we had a day off with Nyekk, so I suggested to go to the Japan Foundation's library and read. I read about Japanese culture festivals, saw a lot of pictures from traditional and modern Japanese houses, and learned about calligraphy. While Nyekk tried to understand and translate a book of Chibi Maruko chan, and saw pictures of rooms of Tokyo (rooms of teenagers, artists etc). We were there for about 4 hours. It was fun and somehow freshing to spend half of my day in a library :) We should do it more often.
And today we went to the Asia Center with Nyekk and Padi. Padi wanted to buy soy sauce, Nyekk wanted to buy presents. A Chinese seller told to her assinstant to keep an eye on us. She might thought we would steal (T.T)... it's so not fair.
Chinese..... a few days ago, we decided that in 10 years time, we will start to learn Korean and Chinese :D I wonder if we can fullfill this promise. Now I feel optimistic and really want to do it. I'm interested in the 3 languages' difference and it would be great to be able to speak them all. Well, you can never know what the future holds, but this is a note to my future self: never give up learning languages. But why is that I feel some people who read this now laughs at me? :D Don't do it! I know you are laughing.. yeah, you there. It's not funny.
- Gadget time -
current pda: Samsung i607
current mobile: Sony Ericsson w380i
current 2nd laptop: eee pc
current konsole: nintendo ds
current gps: Garmin Geko 201
uhm... yep. It's kind of a note for me, as you might realized already, I like to change my gadgets from time to time. Maybe a bit more often than I should. I just like when things are changing around me (I stick to my family and friends only). So it feel kind of fresh when I rearrange my room, or my books on the shelf, or in this case, change my gadgets.
What I want to change now is the pda I have, I would like to have a HTC Touch, because it makes me excited to taptaptap the screen of a little pebl like thing :)
Horikita Maki has two new doramas. One is called Chance. It will be about a 22-years-old working adult who starts working at a travel agency. After trying to get into more than 20 companies and several examinations, she somehow ends up in that travel agency and the story picks of showing the hardships she's going through immediately after getting the job. It will be only two episodes, broadcasted on weekends.
The other one doesn't have a title yet, but it will be about a homeless girl, who has to deal with his father's depts and get married to an older man, who has 6 adopted ikemen (good-looking, bishi) sons. Soon after the marridge the man dies and the girl is left behind with the guys. Hanakimi's team will do this dorama, so I think it will be nice and funny :)
So we are not left behind with Maki's doramas.
As for doramas, I will do a Jdorama database as a school work this semester. It's kind of funny right? :D But I felt if I have to do a school work, I will do it with a topic I love :)
We had snow for the last few days and it's awfully cold out there. Now it's already weekend, so I won't go out, except when I have to take my dog for a walk. Btw, Cooper is fine now ^^ He is healthy and looks good, not like a bone-and-skin zombie. And he got a bit nicer to me :) I think it's because I took care of him when he was in the worst state. So now he is really cute :)
Sorry for this mess of information. Tell me if I should write smaller posts ^^;;;;
